What is The Big Grizzle Climate Competition?

The Big Grizzle Climate Competition is our way of levelling the playing field, designed to support small businesses and startups making a positive environmental impact. The winners of both categories will receive up to £10,000 worth of Grizzle studio time to produce animated content that promotes their business.

Why are we doing this?

For years now we at Grizzle have aimed to work with and help promote businesses working towards a better, greener future either through highly subsidised or pro bono work.

Up until now though we’d been limited by doing the outreach ourselves, which meant that businesses that hadn’t yet made a name for themselves (i.e. the exact sort of business that really needs a promotional video!) weren’t on our radar.

We’re hoping to change that.

Can I enter? 

Of course you can! The competition is open to two winners, one for each category, as long as your business is orientated around fostering a greener more sustainable future.

Your business can relate to any area of the environmental sustainability sector, including but not limited to renewable energy, waste reduction, sustainable agriculture, or conservation.
All you need to do is fill out our entry form telling us a bit about your small business or startup and why an animated video will help you and you’ll be in with a shot at winning a prize.

What’s the prize?

If your business wins either category, we’ll work with you to produce a fully animated, one to two minute long ad, explainer or whatever sort of promotional video best suits you. We’ll work with you all the way from inception, through scripting, storyboarding, animatic to the finished article.

The winners of both the Bootstrapper Booster and Scale Up competitions will be selected independently by the good people at The Good Works before being handed back over to us at Grizzle to announce the winners.
