Another instalment of the ever-popular Football Manager franchise is here! We were lucky enough to work on this year’s trailer after MOX London reached out to us. The idea? – Create a fantastic interactive experience – every decision counts. Check out the Football Manager 20 trailer above!

This year’s Football Manager trailer focuses around the player’s decisions and the importance of each choice you make. To show off this game dynamic in the trailer, MOX focused on making the trailer interactive. Along with the game visuals, this would give players a great idea of what to expect from the game.

About the Story

A big part of Football Manager is scouting; everyone’s looking for the next wonderkid! Additionally, the trailer always focuses on Pépite and his journey through different clubs and leagues. For this trailer, we follow him and his manager – the player – through various scenarios. It covers everything from joining AS Saint-Étienne or Hamburger SV, to picking a perfect formation for the team.

Overall, we loved developing this interactive Football Manager 20 trailer with MOX. It was great to utilise game assets and actual footage from the game; mixing these with real-world video made the game and trailer come to life.
